Sharm el Sheikh is a fantastic place to take a diving holiday – in fact it is so fantastic that Marina Divers Sharm has many repeat guests who come back to dive in the pristine warm waters of Ras Mohamed National Park year after year. It is true to say that every reef is different on every dive. That is probably due to the 800+ species of Red Sea marine life and the 200+ coral species found exclusively here; add the varying currents, sun angle and season and you have a million different dives on a single site.
However we do on occasion become a little fickle and on occasion want to add that different dive to our ever increasing log books. Marina Divers Sharm understands this and with our vast local knowledge always try to provide that first dive excitement experience. You will find that experienced Marina Sharm Divers may well have ‘Gomaa Reef’ jotted down, ‘The Kormoran’ and ‘Ras Frank’ to name but a few. These dives are rarely logged with other dive centers.
So The Marina Divers Sharm team endeavor to keep you on your toes and offer you new and exciting ways to spend your time diving with us. With this in mind we have teamed up with ‘Bedawi’ a local Bedouin company who provide authentic comfortable camping facilities in the Ras Mohamed National Park.
Our exclusive package gives you two guided shore dives in the marine park, a Bedouin BBQ feast for the evening meal, hot cooked breakfast, all your soft drinks, mineral water and tea and coffee , comfortable safari tent accom and the use of the camp facilities. As a minimum of 4 you get to choose two dives collectively from dusk dive, night dive or early morning dive.
The colors are magnificent and one of the best things is, you are diving alone. It would be extremely rare to bump into another group of divers – as this is remote diving. If camping doesn’t seem to be your thing – then think again. The Safari tents have a comfortable mattress and clean, freshly laundered bedding. The large Bedouin communal tent has a nice seating area with back rests and a dining table and chairs. There is even an open air shower tent with fresh water and as they call it a ‘loveable loo’ tent. Your camping experience is more like a welcoming safari experience.
Apart from the diving there is also amazing nature around. Watch the sky at night for shooting stars. With little light pollution you can see the ‘Milky Way’ clearly. Also at night there is a chance to catch the nocturnal animals; foxes are often seen on the hill tops and there are also birds of prey and hundreds of little crabs on the shore side. This is a one off experience which you will never forget and definitely one for the log books.
