At Marina Divers Sharm we have a number of learn to dive courses to fit every ones needs. Whether you have a half a day or five days to spare, love to learn or just want to plunge in, need  a one off SCUBA holiday adventure or feel like you will continue and do more; we have the right learn to dive courses for you.

When you first take the plunge into SCUBA diving, we understand that it is a new adventure for you and maybe you want to just ‘try’ without any commitment to continue SCUBA training. That is why all of our learn to dive courses are available in modules.  You can participate in a Discover SCUBA diving experience and then use this as a credit towards the PADI SCUBA diver course.

Introductory dives

The friendly House reef clown fish will welcome you on your first visit to the under water world. Relax, breathe, and enjoy the wonderful sensation of weightlessness whilst one of our PADI Instructors does all the work for you. An introductory dive is a one to one experience to a depth of 5 meters, for anyone who has ever wanted to ‘have a go’ at SCUBA diving. It is the perfect holiday experience.

Discover Scuba Diving

If you think you are going to really enjoy SCUBA then a Discover SCUBA Diving course is the ideal first step for you. Comprising of a short theory session, skills and swimming practice in the shallow confined water, and then a dive on the house reef to a depth of 12 meters.  This 3 to 4 hour program is a great introduction to SCUBA diving. A fantastic and fun experience on its own, this is also the first part of the PADI certification course, should you wish to continue and become a certified diver.

PADI SCUBA Diver

This is the first step on the PADI diver certification ladder. The Basic SCUBA diver course consists of three theory modules, three pool training sessions and two open water dives. Once certified you’ll be able to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The knowledge and skills you’ll gain in this training program will be credited to your Open Water certification should you wish to continue at a later date. For those with limited time, this is the perfect way to get beneath the waves and among the fish quickly, while gaining a certification at the same time. Duration – 2 to 3 days approx.

PADI E-learning

The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the principal entry level diver course and is the most popular dive program in the world. The course consists of 5 theory modules, 5 pool training sessions and 4 open water dives, designed to prepare you for a lifetime of adventure below the waves. Our PADI instructors will give you all the time you need to emerge as a confident, proficient diver.

PADI E-Learning Courses

If the idea of sitting in a classroom and watching videos whilst you are on holiday doesn’t appeal – don’t give up on the idea of becoming a SCUBA diver.  Learn to dive with the PADI e-learning scheme. You sign-up and learn the theory on-line and once you have completed the knowledge PADI send you a certificate of completion which you then show your Instructor.   You can then enjoy the Red Sea’s warm water, beautiful coral and marine life by just doing the confined water and open water parts of the course.
